A concept site by punktmotion. Quits is a fictional app.

Keep the friends. Lose the math.

Snap the receipt, drag each dish to whoever had it, and settle up in one tap. Tax and tip included, fairly.

Try it: drag a dish onto a friend, or tap the dish, then the friend.

Three steps. No spreadsheet.

A receipt being scanned while every item appears beside the phone.
Snap the receipt. Every item, price, tax and tip is read in about a second.
Four friends with their final shares.
Drag each dish to whoever had it. Shared plates split themselves.
Four friends arranged in a square: all square.
Settle up in one tap. Quits finds the fewest payments, so eight IOUs become three.

Questions.

Do my friends need the app?

No. They get a link with their share and can pay from any browser. If they have Quits, it lands in the app.

What about tax and tip?

Quits reads them from the receipt and splits them in proportion to what everyone ordered. Nobody pays tip on your wine.

Which payment apps does it work with?

Settle up hands each payment to the app you already use, with the amount and the note filled in.

Is it free?

Splitting, scanning and settling up are free. Quits Plus adds shared trips and recurring bills.

Call it quits.
